Took each layer of my You Know print into Rhino to get it into a format suitable for use on the 4-axis mill. Had to take the Illustrator CS3 file, copy out each layer into a new file, save it as an Illustrator verion 8 file. Extrude each let of paths so that they were solids, and then export each layer as a seperate .stl file. Rhino is pretty easy to use.

Lots of work here! and the blocks look really interesting.
I am worried though, and feel like this is once more a bit of the same comment made before, that you are not putting enough effort into deciphering some of these translations between media. So much -- an incredible amount of sophisticated work and time -- is put into the procedure itself, but without embedding cues as to what thought processes and concepts generate the forms you are producing, much of it will remain opaque to the viewers.
These cues need to be part of the shapes you generate, so we can trace back what lead to their form being what it is.
