Nearly finished with the really detailed 2nd linocut block for As The Years Go By. Finished the 1st as it was just a big square.
Pulled 25 prints for the first layer (the big square). Took about 3 hours.
I'd imagine the rest of my blocks won't take nearly that long as they have MUCH LESS surface area to ink. Like holy-crap-that's-a-lot-less surface area.

Career fair stuff:
Talked to Q, Michigan Marketing & Design, InPrint, Aquent, UM College of Engineering, and Ann Arbor Street Fair. Also dropped my resume and awesome-socks leave-behind off with Apple at the College of Engineering's career fair. All had good things to say about my work and my prospects for success. Probably won't get a job with any of the people I talked with, as a lot aren't really hiring a full-time person, but we'll see. A few said they'd throw some freelance stuff my way though if it's too small of a job for them or it's something they don't really do. Also, the AASF folk seemed pretty jazzed about my IP project and really want me to apply for their "emerging artist" thing, where I'd get part of a 20'x20' tent (group show tent) to sell my art (ie. my IP prints). That would be really awesome.
